10 nominations at Romanian PR Award 2020

At the 18th edition of the Romanian PR Award, the benchmark event of the Romanian PR industry, 5 out of Minio Studio’s campaigns received 10 nominations in not one, but 7 different categories.

The nominated projects were developed in the last year for ANCOM, British American Tobacco (BAT), Durex, and Sun Plaza.

These are the nominations received:

 

ANCOM INFOCENTRE @ COMMUNICATION IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR

In an age where everyone is Googling for answers, promoting communication services to consumers can be a big challenge. We accepted this challenge and tried to convince people that the ANCOM Infocenter is the ideal source of information when it comes to communication services in Romania. We created a 360° campaign that included a chatbot, three humorous TVCs, and lots of OOH and digital executions to make ANCOM the best choice for consumers.

BAT GLOBAL GRADUATE @ EMPLOYER BRANDING

Amid the pandemic, BAT continues its youth recruitment program. But the tools it usually used – job fairs – were no longer present. So, fast forward, the campaign was run online and was based on a series of 7 webinars given by people from BAT. And not just any people – the kick-off was given by Ram Addanki, Area Director – Central Europe South (CEO level). People from different departments, from internal to top management, but also 3 content creators participated. The webinars were perfectly integrated under the #myBATstory concept because we were able to show the real-life inside the company.

DUREX – THE RIGHT CONDOM (3x CATEGORIES)

Launching condoms by size – now that’s a challenge! The launch campaign for Durex’s new products, from SlimFit to the XXL range. We collaborated with the Ceva Mărunt comedy crew for a spectacular 360 campaign – from the humorous TV spot, a collection of digital clips, an interactive video quiz, and more.

DUREX – UNTOLD 2019 @ EVENTS

Durex’s presence at Untold last year involved a tower wrapped in LED screens, on which we projected real-time messages based on what was happening at the festival. In addition, we had Kiss Cam, meet & greets with influencers, and lots of live streams on the brand’s Facebook page.

SUN PLAZA APP (4X CATEGORIES)

  • EVENTS

Sun Plaza has launched the first augmented reality app that users can use to discover treasures and collect coins. These are then converted into prizes and discounts at various stores in the mall. The campaign was extensive, with influencers testing the app by live-streaming the experience (as in the gaming industry), as well as various digital executions, branding specifically in the mall.
