Work at Minio they said, it will be fun they said… And it looks like it is!

A few months ago I was browsing IQads looking for a job at a cool agency (yes, I use cool unironically), and I noticed the ads posted by Minio, which were a bit different. I noticed their positioning as a Creative Studio, something I hadn’t seen elsewhere, they had great graphics and very well-written copy. I got a little deeper into the problem and started researching, I found a few campaigns that I was familiar with and liked, for example, the Durex campaign or the Snackologie campaign, take a look HERE and HERE. Then I nicely uploaded my portfolio and applied.

The vibe in the calls was very good, cichi-dandi-relaxed, but also very professional. They sent me an interesting brief that I had to solve, I noticed that they are very attentive to details and quite demanding. Being a small/medium team, it’s very important who you bring on board. Work was done, things were solved, there was a call and I was in, yay, happy me.

My role at Minio is Digital Account, I’m responsible for the project we execute for the client from receiving the brief to implementation and invoicing (like head-to-tail, as Tj Miles would say).

I’m currently working on a project for Cirio and have just filmed two nice commercials.

I love that we’ve recently given up the office space. I worked full remote for a few months at first, but now I’ve switched to working with Pluria, where we book working spaces set up by Pluria weekly or whenever we want. All the spaces have good coffee and you get to meet other nice people.

Very important, you don’t get ripped off with the money, not that I’ve heard of that happening elsewhere, but it’s important to know that you’re joining a group where management is interested in people and you’ll be looked after. You’ll get milk toffee anytime you have a problem, I promise to make it myself! Call me Captain Cringe. Seriously, you’ll meet some people you can get along with.

You’ll love Minio’s work processes and studio-based structure. Colleagues have a proactive attitude and we plan learning and knowledge-sharing sessions quite often. In short, you’ll leave here better than you came in, agencies will be fighting over you and I’m not even kidding. Or agencies will beat me up and I hope I’m joking.

That being said, I look forward to seeing you, dear colleague, we have cool clients (unironically) and I have a feeling we’ll be picking up a few awards this year too if that’s what you’re into; or you can come over and we can both watch cat memes.

P.S. – if it seems like too much of a joke somewhere, feel free to dance on it.
