Hey, tell us about yourself. Name, role, and how long you’ve been with the Minio team.

Hi! I’m Teodora, Account Manager at Minio. I joined the team in 2019 when I was just starting, and things evolved quickly 🙂 Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been working as the team leader of our studio, Alpha.

What are your main responsibilities?

It all starts with close and effective communication with all parties that may be involved in a project: client, partners, suppliers, creative and strategy team, finance, and operations team. From there, the actual organization of the project, which – luckily, because we never get bored 🙂 – is so diverse from one campaign to another. Over time we have managed both executive and technical tasks, as well as some of the most creative and inspirational ones. Finding the perfect solution for the situation often requires good knowledge (which can be achieved through research, brainstorming, and close relationships with partners) of the market, the client, and the consumer we are targeting. The responsibilities are broadly the same – planning the budget, coordinating the project team and briefings, creating timelines, and monitoring the campaign at every stage, on every level, but in reality, the way they are executed always differs and it is important to “tailor” them to the context.

What do you like about your job?

The fact that most of the time, it’s a training of the mind: I don’t think a day goes by that doesn’t challenge you to find (better) and (more) effective solutions. It’s similar to a very well-thought-out strategy board game, which means never losing sight of the big picture and calculating each step.

What is the working atmosphere like at Minio?

In the three years I’ve been part of the Minio team, no matter what changes in staff or environment I’ve encountered, the atmosphere has remained the same: a friendly team, with “real” people who will go out of their way to help you whether they’ve been there before or not. There are relaxed moments and tense moments, but what matters most is that there is human support on all levels.

What interesting project have you worked on recently?

The project I’m proud of right now is SOCAR – The Engine of Your Projects, a brand campaign aimed at the enterprising category of people who use their cars to carry out their daily projects, big and small. We shot a great spot, developed a long series of materials, and can’t wait to see the final results.

What would you say to other account managers who are considering applying to Minio?

The way we relate to advertising or the way we work can be atypical to most in the industry and, in my view, much more in-depth and interesting. Come meet the team and we’ll tell you the real story of what it’s like here.
