36 degrees. Even the most interesting briefs melt under the discomfort caused by the heat. The Minio Studio team gets an email. Ana informs us that next week we have Work from Anywhere from Bușteni and we’re going to love it! Those who want to join, those who can, those who don’t already have other plans can come, but we hope to gather as many as possible. 

It was Minio’s first Work from Anywhere Together – for a week, our headquarters were in Bușteni, in a chic villa, with a huge, green courtyard, with lots of shade.  On the ground floor, we set up Minio’s new office, where we worked within the normal work schedule and where during the evening it all turned into a dance floor. In the morning we would meet in our pajamas for coffee and a few hours later we would each put on our specialist t-shirts, the ones we use for our most creative campaigns.

We had no shortage of Chefs either; not because we took any with us, but because Mihai, our Senior Art Director cooks as well as he creates KVs. And Madalina, who besides being an Account Manager, is also a Dessert Specialist, few people know, took care of the desserts.

Some colleagues even came with their children because we’ve always liked minions. It was an interesting and enjoyable mix of morning photos over coffee, calls, barbecue with colleagues, budgeting, and stories in the garden.

Our Work from Anywhere program is not limited to the beautiful week spent in the mountains. Since May, we’ve been back in the office, but with a flexible schedule. At the Alizeului headquarters, you’ll find us working, cooking, and joking together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a safe, specially designed program from 10:00 to 18:30, when city and transport traffic is lighter. And on Mondays and Fridays, we continue to enjoy our home office with Zoom & chill. 3 days a week at the office are enough for us to load up on #GoodVibes from colleagues and take back our internal processes and learning step by step, as we used to.

At the same time, since returning to the office, we have “globalized” Minio Studio, taking into account our colleagues’ preferences to relocate to other cities and even countries. Ploiesti, Botoșani, Cluj, Hungary, and Austria are just some of the places where some colleagues prefer to work from. They are “Minio Branches”, as we call them. But even they come to the office from time to time for an honest catch-up, internal events, or a brainstorm over coffee in the garden.

Plus, over the summer, we’ve been able to work from anywhere without any limitations. We organized ourselves so that we could be at the office, be at shoots, and be at the client’s house, but when no situation required us to be anywhere, we were everywhere. Cluj, Mureș, Botoșani, Sibiu, Arad, Slatina, Vama Veche, Miercurea Ciuc, Vienna, Tenerife, Switzerland are just a few of the places where we were nomads with our laptops in our arms and we loved it.
